The Gambling Commission is an executive non-departmental public body of the Government of the United Kingdom responsible for regulating gambling and supervising gaming law in Great Britain. The aim of completing this module, compiled by the charity Racing to School, is to equip you with knowledge and understanding of the British Horseracing Authority’s (BHA’s) rules on gambling for licensed individuals, along with an overview on the issue of problem gambling and its associated harms. You will also have access to resources available to those affected in this way and to the organisations that support them.
